LADIES OF SOUND

Ladies of Sound is the official women’s division of the Beat Junkies, where we aim to use our platform as a way to give light to the hard-working and talented women in our community. As a by-women, for-women operation, our goals are to train, educate, & support female DJs, create opportunities in all facets of our industry, and inspire the future generation of women in music.

MARICEL SISON

Maricel is known as the “Lady of the House” and “The Principal” at the Beat Junkie Institute of Sound. She is the driving force within the team, leading the way for ladies to be part of our community. You can find her armed with cameras, a smile, and a drive that everyone in the room can feel. Ask anyone, and they’ll say she is the core of all the behind-the-scene logistics to the school — from operating class schedules, to content creating and marketing, to producing our constant school events such as Sip N’ Scratch; and of course, Ladies of Sound!
